SCHOOL INITIATED PROGRAMS/PROJECTS

1 X 1 e-Learning Classmate PC Pilot Project

A project of the DepEd in collaboration with FIT-ED, UP-NISMED and Intel, Phils., making Alabang Elementary School as one of the only two elementary schools to pilot the said project. Adopting the one-is-to-one scheme, allowing one Classmate PC per student to transform each child to his maximum potential, as an independent learner with skills and knowledge built upon with the use of technology resources and web-based learning.

Special Education (SPED)

A special program for the differently-abled children categorized as: autism, mentally retarded, behavioral modification, early intervention, one-on-one, mainstreaming, prevocational, and vocational.

AES Learning TV

A special program of the Alabang Elementary School where a series of Educational TV Programs shown to Grade I pupils thru television sets installed in their classrooms, scheduled every Wednesday at 9:10 to 9:40 AM for morning classes and 2:55 to 3:25 PM for afternoon classes.

Alive Class/ Madrasah

Designed for Muslim children to remind them of their Islamic Values and and teach them the Arabic Language. Four Asatidz teachers are assigned to handle the classes which are held every Saturday.

Nutri-Pan sa Eskwelahan

Another special project in the school, having a bakery within the school that produces highly fortified "Pandesal" as its main product. Its main objective is to provide proper nutrition to the pupils for a lesser cost. The project concentrates more on the nutritional facts of its products.

Alabang Elementary School Advisory Thru Text (AESATT)

An innovative program using a single computer with internet connection and aided with the power of Chikka Text Messaging Program to send advisories, announcements or reminders to teachers through their cellphones quickly and free of charge.

READiscovery Center

A program of the Alabang Elementary School sponsored by HSBC where the School Library was transformed into a center having the objectives of promoting love and habit of reading, supporting the academic needs of every pupil and providing extra curricular activities that will supplement other needs of pupils.

AES Reward Certificate

A new reward system implemented by the school which entitles the pupils to a certain additional points given for excellence in recitation, assignment and project or in recognition of his behavior or action thru a certificate indicating the earned points with the denominations of 5-3-1. These earned points will have an equivalent percentage and will be added to the grade given by the teacher.


M.I. Superkids

An educational learning program designed by Ovaltine in partnership with the Department of Education for Grades III and IV pupils to discover and sharpen their Multiple Intelligence.
