Layunin nito na maitaas and uri at antas ng pagkatuto sa pagbasa ng may pang-unawa, mapabilis at mapahusay and pagbasa na may pag-unawa at mahikayat na magbasa and lahat ng mga mag-aaral. Ito ay ang pagtuturong pinagsanib na pagbasa at wika na ginagamitan ng “Four Pronged Approach”.

Project YOURS (Your Own Unique Reading Solutions).

 

 

 

 

 

 

This project primarily aims to decrease the number of nonreaders in the division. Specifically, it aims to decrease the number of those nonreaders who are in the frustration level, increase the number of those in the instructional level and independent levels. Under this project are the following programs: Mastery of the Basic Sight Words, The Use of Varied Decoding Strategies, Developmental 5-Day Reading Cycle, Bata Mo Tulong Mo, Peer Tutoring, Parent Tutoring, CAT Adopt-A-Reader at Risk, PIES (Pick Enjoy and Share), Fluency Monitoring, Best Reader Award and Reading for Higher Thinking.

Project STOP (Science Teaching Out-of-the Box Program)

 

 

 

 

 

 

This program aims to move teachers away from the traditional teaching of Science. Under this program are: Hand in Hand Instrumentation Program – aims to fabricate and improvised science equipment, Science Concept on Board (SCOB) – daily/weekly flashing of concepts on illustration board, Science in the Community – immersion of science club officers/members in the community, and science Investigatory Project.

IV.      MATHEMATICS

 

 

 

 

 

Project ADMIRE (ADvocacies for Mathematics Instruction REforms)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Under this project are programs like the inclusion of the following in the teacher’s daily lesson plan: Problem of the Day, Communicating Mathematics and Links in Mathematics. The project aims to give focus or emphasis on development of the different process skills in mathematics teaching and learning e.g. problem solving skills, communication skill, reasoning skill, connection skill and representation skill. If consistently monitored, pupils/students will have a strong conceptual understanding on the different concepts/principles in Mathematics.

Since TLE and EPP are focused on basic and practical work skills, holistic activities should be provided to all pupils/students that would serve as avenues in the development of their manipulative skills.

Project GOLD (Go for Outstanding Leadership in Developing Skills)

 

 

 

 

 

 

This project aims to provide teachers know-how in teaching prescribed song in their respective grade level, produce curriculum materials in teaching arts, enhance teacher’s competencies in teaching basic motor skills and improve health and nutrition status of school going population. Reproduction of tapes, Choral Competition, Art Exhibit, Eco Contest, and Adopt-A-Sport Event Program are activities/programs under this project.

Project BODY (Build Our Dreams while Young)

 

 

 

 

 

 

This project aims to create opportunities and hone skills in art, develop understanding of musical concepts through listening, singing, playing and reading, and acquire knowledge, principle, attitude and health development towards a healthy, beneficial, responsible, and meaningful living. Under this project are Music Museum, Art Gallery, and Cultural Awareness through Cultural Presentation, Folk Dance Workshop, and Sports Clinic.

 

 

 

Project YES (Youth, Environment, and Safety)

 

 

 

 

 

 

It aims to supplement proper discipline in school and community, address social and civic concerns, participate in the prevention of crime in the community and develop commitment to enforce community ordinances. To realize the given objectives, the following are support programs: Team Building Activities, Kababayan Ko Tuturuan Ko, Clean-up Activities, Emergency Preparedness, Workshop on Crime Prevention and Alay Lakad.

Project GLOBE (Greet, Lead, Obey, Behave, Every time anywhere you go)

 

 

 

 

 

 

This project  aims to create students who have deep sense of commitment to the progress of the nation through academic excellence, produce social beings with a sense of responsibility for their community and environment, develop students who are self-actualized: integrally matured students imbued with a sense of human dignity, and manifest God as reflection of their spiritual being. Under this project are Family Day Celebration, May First Kapwa, Family Awareness Seminar, Tulong Mo Ibabahagi Ko, Sagip Buhay, Bible Quiz, Reach Out Activities and Peace Parade.

XI.      SCHOOL CANTEEN MANAGEMENT

 

 

 

 

 

Project SERVICE (Schools Earning Raised by Varied and Improved Canteen Expenditures)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Service is the main consideration for operating a school canteen and profit is only secondary since the clientele are the pupils/students who are dependent only upon their meager allowance. School earning is not dependent on the additional mark-up prices of food items sold but also in the variation of prepared and cooked foods. When services are improved and canteen expenditures are properly disbursed, feeding funds will be maximized.

XII.    ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM

 

 

 

 

 

Project FLIGHT (Functional Literacy with Income Generating and Home Technology)

 

 

 

 

 

 

This was conceptualized to prepare out-of-school youths for college education and world of work, provide opportunities to the adult learners in basic/advance education and achieve passing rate in the TESDA skills test for livelihood program. Literacy Classes, Adult Literacy, Revision of ALS Program Offerings based on Community Needs, Entrepreneurial Orientation, Skill Trade Testing and Micro Finance Resourcing are strategies to be implemented to achieve the stated objectives.
